Writer

My writing credits began with The Dig, a two act comedy for The Cambridge Theatre company, back in 1989 but I started writing seriously in the mid-Nineties when I got a commission to write one of the old half hour, self-contained episodes of The Bill. I then went onto write hour long episodes of the series in the new format and from there onto Casualty. Over the last ten years I have been commissioned to write a variety of scripts including; Mancini’s Empire for LWT, One Inch Of Heaven for the BBC, Roeg’s Rage for Chrysalis, Wired, for the BBC comedy department, plus episodes of Doctors, and Holby City for the BBC. In 2005 I completed two screenplays on spec; The Lost is a ghost thriller and is being developed for production. Human Resources received a development grant from Screen West Midlands allowing me to develop the script to third draft with script editor Stevie Lee (former head of development at Contagious Films). The script is currently being represented in the UK and USA by my agents Macfarlane-Chard associates.
